What we store
Your name (as you'd like to be greeted), email, language, the tastings you save (drink, rating, flavor tags, notes, whether you'd buy it) and your check-ins at a venue.
One account with Sip Notes
OKAERI and the Sip Notes journal share one sign-in. Each app keeps its own data. Deleting your account removes your data from both.
Who sees what
Your tastings and notes are yours. A producer sees your name and email only if you turn on sharing with that producer, and you can turn it off anytime. Producers see visit counts and ratings only as totals.
AI
To write your palate summary and suggestions, your own tastings and the venue's current pour list are sent to our AI provider, Groq. Nothing else is sent, and we don't sell your data.
